This school is horrible. Absolutely no communication between staff and parents unless you contact them. Poor at informing on academics , they argue with you and put the blame on others. Instead of trying to help the students and take the proper steps to fix the issue. Testing ? Etc. The teachers refuse to help students when asked so they just fail. Most of the staff have attitudes towards the students and parents. When brought up nothing is done about it. They discriminate and treat certain kids differently. They allow students to record with their phones in class. Children are always distracted by violence, they can not even focus. They can not keep teachers. Some children do not even get in trouble for things they should definitely be written up for or suspended. Yet other students are disciplined more harshly than others, even without proper evidence. They literally go by hearsay. The children do not learn hardly a thing at that school. I would not recommend beckley stratton to anyone.

Beckley elementary provides a subpar education. Teachers send home a great deal of homework that is nothing but busy work. Instructional time in the classroom appears to be minimal. After speaking with the administration about their ranking, they seem to be comfortable with their rating of 5. I was astonished. Our child has been a student at Beckley elementary for four years. We have had to supplement his education at home in order to stay on pace with other kids from the better schools. A positive note about the school--the teachers are nice.
