"People walk their dogs around here all the time when the weather is nice. They’d like the easy access to parks and other public places such as dog parks "
  • Trulia User
"Neighborhood can be better, but I love my neighbors. The city removed the playground during Covid and never put it back and it’s still closed. That was the only neighborhood park. The property value is going up so it’s a good place to invest in. "
  • Trulia User
"stray dogs are running around everywhere. be careful when you are out and walking around the neighborhood. awareness could keep you from getting bit. "
  • Trulia User
"JB is in the middle of quite a bit. It’s a good location, but it’s not a safe place. It’s got a lot of shootings lately honestly. "
  • Humphreybrittney
"People loiter a lot which can be detrimental to the pets. As well some people speed making it unsafe for the pets to walk because of minimum sidewalk space. "
  • Carapearson11582%40gmail.com
"I grow up in this area and live here in my adulthood. Somethings do happen in the neighborhood but everyone around us mind there business but looks out for each other at the same time. I love the area"
  • Arlena J.
"No block parties that I know of but I do love how engaged in the community the library is. The local barbershop does a back to school function were they give free haircuts and I’ve attended that. Awesome event. "
  • Carlos O.
"I like the Jhon barrow community. It’s ok to live here. Only thing it’s more improve to street roads. They are so small."
  • Ldsuttles
"there are no community events in the John Barrow neighborhood area. I wish there were events available"
  • Paulette R.
"I grew up from Birth in John Barrow. It was nice then. Now I don't know because people from all kinds of areas."
  • Ldsuttles
"I have lived here 8 years. have seen it's ups and downs. you have to take the good with the bad. MyStreet is a mixture of rental duplexes and homes. The homes are kept up very well some of the duplexes are kept up as the owners actually care about their properties. others however just want to collect rent. places look run down"
  • Steven.markham
"There is no other neighborhood with the unique style that Brodie Creek offers in central Arkansas. The homes are nothing else alike anywhere. The neighborhood takes pride in maintaining the look and style that it has become."
  • Msb
"There are bus stops at the edge of the neighborhood that are within easy walking distance. Within a mile or so you have easy access to I430 and I630. The commute to downtown is less than 10 minutes with no traffic. "
  • cecil.l.clark
"Neighborhood is in Chenal Valley. Far enough outside of Little Rock to feel like you live in a small town, but close enough to the big city for convenience."
  • Lakeshamallen
"I am a lifelong resident of this neighborhood and community. It's family oriented and most people here are really nice and welcoming. After returning from the military, I made it my goal to come back home. "
  • Lakeshamallen
"Lived here during my childhood years and eventually moved back as an adult after college and military discharge."
  • Lakeshamallen
"I've grown up in the area. I have always loved being in this community and would like to raise my family here as well. "
  • Sherri M. L.
"I can get to great shopping and restaurants in about 5 to 10 minutes. I love the schools around me because I went to them. I've lived in the area and loved it so much, that I built my own house 3 blocks from my parents. "
