I've heard mixed things about the area, but what seems to be most true is the fact that it really can change from street to street, like drastically (or so I hear).     "I have lived in the South Perry District since 1996. I moved to Spokane from the Bay Area and I really love this area. It has the feel of downtown Berkley, and the comfort of May berry. I have 3 kids and it has been a great area to raise my kids. Our neighbors are great. We take walks throughout neighborhood and love seeing our neighbors out and about.
