This is a great school for anyone who wants to learn or be great in their future, but when it comes to showing compassion and letting people grow into how they want to be and present themselves, this school has a real problem. Not only that, this school is so old-fashioned that it actually breaks my heart. Only recently were girls allowed to wear leggings, and only recently were they allowed to wear shorts. If you’re from anywhere now in this region of Georgia or have ever visited this part of Georgia, you know it’s always hot and it barely ever gets cold, so wouldn’t you want to wear shorts and breathable clothes? Students wake up from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. every school morning and expect to be in class by 7:25, and they are let out at 2:25. From 6:30 AM this school’s rules are enforced. Students cannot hold their phones. Students aren’t allowed to listen to music. Students can’t do anything but just be there. They’re there sometimes from 15 minutes to 30 whole minutes, so even 45 minutes before time that school actually starts, and they are just expected to walk around as if they’re robots in One Direction or sit in a cafeteria for the people who are being loud and obnoxious. There may be tensions from the day before or the night before; it’s early in the morning, and they don’t want to be there. Nobody wants to get up at the crack of dawn to come to a place with hostile undertones. So you would imagine that everything will be harmonious. Students will be allowed to just have their moments in peace before they have to sit for a whole eight hours under strict rules, but no, that is not the case this morning. I witness two teachers put on a yelling at this girl for absolutely no reason. I won’t say it was for absolutely no reason, but to me, it just seems to be too much to be doing early in the morning. The student had her shirt tucked into a bra, but I didn’t see any skin. She was trying to put down her bag, and she had her phone in her hand for a solid 45 minutes, maybe even shorter than that. The student was being bullied and yelled at by two grown adults at 7 in the morning. I can understand the whole shirt thing, but I cannot understand why she was being fully yelled at by two adults early in the morning about placing down her bag and having her phone in her hand. It wasn’t like she was on it. She was simply holding it, and she was being screamed at by two grown adults above the age of 30, by the way. The school’s faculty need a serious check-up.

I went to enrole my kid there and the staff did not seem to know what was going on. This was during open enrollment and I did not feel that the teachers were up to par with teaching not to mention the office staff that did not have a clue about anything. They started off by acting like I was not there and than not having a brain in third head. I will never put my kid in this school!!!!!!!

Many students at this school are harrased daily, doing drugs in the bathrooms, or fully not getting the help they need. Teachers will have students literally being told their going to hell or getting called slurs right in front of them and not bat a eye. No one cares for the students at this school other than a small handful of teachers and a consular or two. But that's rare. Not to mention the special education they provide is horrid. Most people who work in that department leave the kids with others and go to do everything else but help those kids. Which get bullied by the other students for being who they are. The absolute levels of harassment and horrid treatment that goes on at this school has made some students have thoughts of suicide. If they are not popular, girls will be harrased for phone numbers and there bodies. If their a guy barely any damage with come their way because their male. The school is heavily sexist, racist, and homophobic. Kids regularly use racist stereotypes, use the n word, and or other slurs to bully others. And the school and teachers do nothing about. Not a single thing. Most let their students run wild in classrooms. Even smoking vapes in the classroom. No one cares at this school. They only care about a paycheck if staff or popularity if a student. No one enjoys going here.
