My child will be attending this school for the fall 2024 academic year. She is autistic and I’m praying that this school has the experienced teachers and the programs that she will need in order to be successful. From reading the reviews and seeing how disabled children compare to children in the same grade in other schools across the state, I am not so pleased. In addition to the stories that I am reading about bullying to the poor test grades, I am having second doubts about allowing my daughter to attend this school. I am actually considering having her bused to another close by school with better recommendations. I just hope the time between the posting of the negative reviews and now was enough time for this school to respond and hopefully fix a lot of thing including academics and the bullying thing that I am reading so much about.Sincerely, Concerned parent

TJ offers a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

This school has been a G-d send for my child. He has attended a number of schools in the local area and this is the first one where he has not been physically attacked on a near daily basis. It is a very sad statement, but the other schools failed to protect him in this most basic requirement: Milford, NY, JC, ME, UV. All teachers struggle with the standardized testing requirements, but we have found the teachers here to be truly concerned for the advancement of students and engaged in the process for their success. Finally, he can begin to develop both academic and social relationships. I wish school ratings were based less on than test scores on more on the support and development of the child. Negative: buses are available for late sporting events but not for after school student-teacher assistance.
