Great school in so many areas. Just earned an A rating

Very unwelcoming. My child was bullied from day one. Dark, dingy, depressing place with poor education.

Granted this review is from a while ago 2010 and maybe it has changed but maybe not. I went to school here and I'm 29 year's old now but I'm writing a review of my experience. In my experience I delt with teachers that didn't care and failed me and many other students. When the teachers weren't yelling and screaming at me and my fellow students they weren't helping us at all and everytime we asked for help they would act extremely frustrated that me and others had learning disabilities for certain subjects and would not go the extra mile to help us instead yell at us. My paperwork for free school lunches was always denied even though my family never had the money to give me for lunch and they would throw my food away everyday rather than have a student be able to eat. During my last year of Junior high I had grades good enough to pass into high school and they basically stated because I stood up to bullies in school and wouldn't allow them to beat up other students up that I needed to be held back ultimately leading to me dropping out and never finishing school. I do not recommend Blue ridge at all if it was anything like it was back in 2010. Maybe it's changed maybe it hasn't but I have heard snowflake high school has a far higher rate of graduation and the teachers are better.
