I must say, I am very fortunate to have River Ridge Elementary as a school. The teachers are HIGHLY qualified, professional, caring, and are VERY student-centered. This school is a GOLD STAR school because it is the unending talent of these teachers that make this school so spectacular. RRES also has a fabulous Special Education Program that works with kids that need the additional support. The Title I program is also an exceptional program. We need more schools like this one. I hope people appreciate the teachers in this building, who put in 200% to each individual student. Their classrooms are fun, yet structured in a way where learning is effective and meaning ful.

Excellent school. Have one child in river ridge and am forced by the courts to send the other to st Mary's. There is no comparison between the two as st Mary's doesn't have enough qualified teacher because they are not required.

Dear River Ridge High School, In trying to offer my service to talk with graduating seniors I was told my services were not needed. Talking to another former older Alumni it was suggested not to bother. The reason being they don't recognize Bloomington or West Grant graduates. If not giving back to a school would not be important, why pretend to be a school in the first place. I don't feel I'm all that self important but there are many alumni that are. If River Ridge can't glean something from their alumni base, there is something wrong. I would think twice before hiring a Principal and Superintendent who would turn down gifts, scholarship money from alumni and friends to help the poor unfortunate student get a higher education. I will support Boscobel and Fennimore schools instead. At least they appreciate their alumni base.
