Good school go if you only if your a g if not then don't go

I sincerely apologize, but who decided this was 2024’s best school of St Clair County? From my experience, students are afraid of certain teachers because of verbal abuse. Example: back in a class I was in from 2 years ago, my friend was called a “waste of air” in front of the whole class, and that teacher’s still here! Also, I feel like I have to hide everything now because of my last year’s ELA teacher looking through my notebook specifically for art, really proving that school KILLS artists. And can we talk about the difference popular people and other people face during physical education?? It’s absolutely insane how the popular girls get away with wearing jean shorts while the others wear those uncomfortable Mascoutah brand P.E. shorts. I feel bad for the color purple because of this school, honestly.

We love the school and the district, by far the best in the area. Only negative I’ve seen is in the special education department where they are not proactive enough and they have one teacher who cares more about looking good on paper then actually doing her job. Otherwise, it’s an amazing place to send your child, just wish the needs of special education students would be better met.
