7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been attending Homer since Pre-K. I've found that all of his classroom teachers are top notch folks who really do love and care for their students and go above and beyond to help them succeed. The only place I've seen failures with the staff has to do with the young, college aged Student Teachers they have working the playgrounds and extended day areas. Like any younger generation nowadays, they seem more focused on their phones than the task at hand...which in this case if our children!!! The only complaints my son has ever had with any staff at Homer has been regarding the younger student teachers. I have not personally seen any issues with bullying. What I have heard of is that when a teacher is aware of it, it is dealt with swiftly.Parent Review10y ago8 Reviews - Francis Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child currently attends Byng Junior High. We have been very pleased with the teachers and staff. There are many activities, groups, and organizations so that all students can be involved in some way. I can honestly say that when I drop my child off at school, I can rest assured that my child will be safe. The school keeps the outside doors locked at all times, and also has a school resource officer on staff. I would definitely recommend Byng Junior High.Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Byng High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children, one attends Francis Elem. and the other is attending Byng Jr. High. We are very blessed that our two children get the opportunity to attend the Byng School Systems. We are pleased as parents that we can count on Francis and Byng to strive for academic leadership and still create an awesome athletic program system. Great Job Byng!Parent Review15y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 208 E Mainapt #1.

"No sidewalks, which means you are usually walking at the edge of the street. Not a lot of heavy traffic so that’s not a huge problem. Most people don’t pick up their dog’s waste. There is a dog park in town!"

"It’s not bad. I mean it’s Ada, America. The town’s not very large, so the commute is normally not bad no matter where you’re going. This neighborhood is not far from Walmart, the Arlington Center, the North Hills Center, ECU, and the golf course though. There are also some doctor’s offices, Walgreens, and an optician very nearby."

"All of the houses are rental houses. people move in and out every month. Houses are ludicrously expensive here and no jobs that pay enough to afford to buy one. "
