Neighborhood Description

The house is located off of the Wheeling Suspension Bridge. A 150+year old bridge which was once the longest suspension span across the water in the world. It's all lit up at night and can be seen from inside the house. The view of the river can be seen from the master bedroom, small bedroom and enclosed front porch. The houses on the street are mansions from the victorian era and are ornate in decor. Many have been or are being restored to victorian form and colors. The fourth of July celebration is annually set across the river at the Wheeling Heritage Waterfront. The fireworks are set off one block from the house and off of the bridge. Heritage Port offers entertainment all summer long.

    "I grew up in Wheeling and it was very safe and a great place to raise a family.It is somewhat different now but still remains a great family community.Good housing.Decent schools,especially private-Linsly.I and my children went there.We were ell prepared for college and beyond including advanced and professional degrees.Wheeling has a great park for a smaller city.Close to Pittsburgh and Columbus for airports,fine dining,concerts,clothing,etc"
