Description

Graceful and beautiful, this custom waterfront home is perfectly positioned on a gently sloping, South facing point lot that is approximately 3/4 acre and enjoys almost 300 ft. of shoreline. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the boutique, Crescent Community known as Oake Pointe, feast your eyes on expansive views of the spectacular Lake Keowee water as well as four islands that are habitats for birds, provide sandy beaches, and trees that create a wonderful contrast to a crystal blue sky. The yard is immaculately manicured and has an irrigation system in place; the hardwood trees provide shade, yet do not obstruct your views. Imagine your family and friends gathered around the large fire pit with sitting area. Sand and stepping stones lead you into the lake for swimming or other water sports. The dock is a Kroeger built, covered dock with a Hydrohoist boat lift and approximately 12 feet of water at end of dock at full pond. The exterior is low maintenance, traditional hard coat stucco and stone. There are no gutters to maintain and a French drain in place. The open, flowing, simple floor plan showcases Lake Keowee! Barrel ceiling in foyer, dramatic lighting in the entry area and dramatic lake views greet you upon entering this home. The Great room features a gas fireplace with glass stone insert. The kitchen and dining area has an amazing cherry wood, barrel ceiling and panoramic, 180 degree views of the lake. This home has an array of architectural details that you are sure to love. A huge Timbertech deck opens off of the kitchen and grilling is a snap with the natural gas hook up for your grill. Stairs lead into the grassy yard, the dock, as well as to the lower level terrace. The Master bedroom suite opens to a sunroom with large screened, sliding-glass windows for temperate days. The Master Bath features a large walk-in shower for two with Grohe fixtures and a window to the lake. The walk-in closet with his/her side has Carolina Closet finish and should be more than ample! There is a guest suite on the main floor with access to the rear deck, a private bath and a Carolina Closet. The bonus room over the 3-car garage has 600 sf with its own full bath and walk-in closet. The terrace level has a 2nd full kitchen plus two large bedrooms, each has a full bath. The spacious family room and recreation areas open to the outdoor patio leading right down to the lake. The owners have their own gym that has access to the outside, but this could be your own workshop. Do you want a wine cellar? It is ready to be finished for your future collection, should you wish. To complete the lower level, there is a large unfinished storage area. Don't miss the kids playroom, complete with miniature door, under the stairs. The study has a 180-degree view of Lake Keowee and has built-in desk and cabinets. One of the most desirable attributes of this custom home are the water views from each room in the house. This home offers quality, location, and views. This home has 3 HVAC units for efficiency, Nest thermostats, security system and speakers on the main floor with central hook up. Additionally, tankless water heater and circulating pump for instant hot water. Hot water dispenser in kitchen. Automated Lutron HomeWorks lighting system with pre-set scenes instead of banks of switches on the main level--can be controlled with smart phone. Marvin windows and doors with UV coating on south facing main level windows. Huge attic easily accessible with catwalk across whole house. 3 car garage. This charming neighborhood has 28 homes. The HOA fees are $250/annually for 2016. The location is approximately 8 minutes to shopping or restaurants. Walhalla schools.

"In Oconee county/seneca there is a lot of family and it is a small town as of right now but everyone pretty much knows everyone. The “town” is getting a lot bigger and they are making it like city and and they’re 5 year plan is terrible if you are looking for a rural area but if you are looking for a urban area I would recommend looking elsewhere"
  • Arlene Sousa
"People are very friendly. The environment is beautiful. Southerners are very sweet Love the south"
  • Sheri Ellen
"We have many pet owners and is a pet friendly neighborhood. Been living in Seneca 58 years. Family is important! "
  • R Copps
"I’ve lived in the area (specifically the Village of Newry) for 9 years and I love it. Close to everything but far enough away to feel relaxed. Nice neighbors, a lot of improvements and community pride had increased."
  • Fox
"Neighbors are friendly and take really really good care of their homes and property. They clean up after their dogs and are extremely respectful "
  • Tara Patterson
"People come together to support each other during difficult times. The community is welcoming and there are many fun outdoor activity spaces. "
  • Shelley K.
"Just moved here and love it! Neighbors wave when you go buy. No one speeds and rarely do you see strangers unless they deliver something. Very quiet, but you can hear the stadium from here."
  • Dara D.
"This is a Lake community and very friendly people. A good combo of laid back like life and still near plenty of shops/restaurants!"
  • Jefferson B.
"Several people walk dogs past my house on a daily basis in the Bayshore community where I live. We know to watch for them when driving and wave from cars and porches. "
  • Brundage801
"it's ok if you don't live right in town. the mill area is not the best place to live or visit due to it being a high crime area. "
  • Brundage801
"its an ok place depending on where you live in seneca. The schools are good and shopping is always close by."
  • Erin G. .
"We’ve lived here over a year and it’s very quiet and everyone kinda keeps to themselves. My only complaint would be people tend to speed in the neighborhood and that does bother me since we have a child & dog so we tend to walk a lot. "
  • Amyhartgantt
"People are always walking dogs twice a day. Very dog friendly. Most people have dogs and some even walk with a golf cart "
  • Jefferson B.
"There ARE nice parts of Seneca, like the Bayshore subdivision (where we live), and neighboring ones AND there are "undesirable" areas, such as near downtown. "
  • Isom0314
"Neighborhood is a great area ! Awesome place to live, quiet and safe. Great place to raise your kids and have a family!"
  • Hugo Marques
"I enjoy being a resident in Seneca... Anything I need can be found in here: restaurants, car repair shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, medical assistance, good schools..."
  • Raeleigh W.
"There’s really not a lot to not like for a dog owner. Most neighborhoods have backyard space that is fenced in for the dog to run around, and you can walk your dog around the neighborhoods as well. One thing that they may not like is that there’s no where to throw away doggie bags if you pick up after your dog. Which, mostly no one would want a doggie bag trash can near their front yard, but it’s not like our neighborhoods have nice side walks to walk on, and even the park doesn’t have the doggie bag trash can. Other than that and people flying up and down the road, there’s not much a dog owner wouldn’t like. "
  • Hank N
"No side walk. So walking in the road with a few blind spots for drivers. Even tho it’s posted for 20 mph. People still go way too fast. "
  • Amy G.
"We are a Lake Keowee neighborhood that is nearly complete. We are close to town, Close to a county park and boat ramp, tennis courts and pickle ball courts. Boat storage around the corner. Everyone walks their dogs, waves hello. "
  • The Jensens
"I see a lot of people walking their dogs or kids around our loop. Dog owners seem to be mindful of dog waste. We've heard no complaints about any of the dogs."
  • Duaneg2017
"There's no community events, in this neighborhood. Mostly retired people, living here, with a hand full of young edults. This is a mixed race neighborhood, which every body gets along, with the exception of one, who recently left after beating up his livein girlfriend, he still owns his dilapidated home, but at least him and his drugs are gone for now. Where approximately 1 1/2 miles from shopping, which includes Wal-Mart, two shopping centers and a dozen diffrent places too eat and two gas stations within a mile."
  • Cngwatts
"Everyone always saves to each other. Kids play in the yards, ride bikes and Halloween everyone in town comes here to Trick or Treat"
