10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is well known in the district for refusing to support special education students. The principal manipulates parents and doesn't make the staff follow IEPs. There are a few really kind, knowledgeable teachers, but they don't make up for the ones who haven't changed their curriculum in 20 years, give overwhelming amounts of busy work, and don't acknowledge the social/emotional needs of children. Also, if a child is "different" in any way, they will be barked at and harassed with no consequences. The test scores are good, because the principal makes no effort to educate students that require extra help and their parents end up pulling them out and placing them in a different school.Parent Review3y ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 205 S 1st St #B.

"Everyone’s confusing this neighborhood with downtown Hampton it is not in downtown Hampton. It is off mercury across from Hardee’s - in a private gated community. It is on a peninsula surrounded by natural surroundings and water on three sides Has a clubhouse ,a pool ,grounds are kept incredibly nice. They have wildlife projects. Everyone is friendly and speaks and waves. I walk at sunrise and after dark at 12 o’clock at night the only thing that scares me every now and then is the occasional surprise by a rabbit, but my dog loves them "

"I don’t know where that person got. It wasn’t safe and people raced through the neighborhood. It’s in a gated community Everybody is very friendly. It’s quiet. We’re surrounded by water a beautiful wildlife I walk at night during the day I see all the ospreys egrets Heron The pier is lit up at night. You can walk out on that. Everybody respects others nobody throws trash out. I feel blessed."

"This is a great neighborhood to raise a family in. I believe that in a few years the price of real estate will increase. I purchased my home 5 years ago here and the value has more than doubled. Very safe area, neighbors walk dogs and the children are friendly."

"I’ve lived here 12 years and raised my kid here. It’s a unique neighborhood where each house has its own flair, no HOA, and folks wave and say hello as they bike or walk by. Kids hang out and play. There’s a sense of community here. LOVE living in Wythe!"

"It's quiet despite being in the middle of everything. Everyone knows everyone but no one is nosy. They're not especially friendly either. It's not a very outgoing community. Though the people are nice. When my dog escapes the yard he is promptly returned. It is also a very diverse neighborhood."
