6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of a studious minority child, I am 100% disappointed in the leadership at Dumbarton Middle School. The Administration has no EFFECTIVE protocol for addressing bullies or harassment from students and teachers. Yes i said teachers! The teachers here are so hell bent on control that they give students failing grades if the kid doesn't attend unwarranted detention. The students here are sooooo stressed with trying to get to class with minimal to no travel time ......minimal time to get through lunch the line and eat. Which is so bad , I had to pack my kid lunch everyday. Now that we've scratched the service the BIGGEST ISSUE is the phone investigations when bullying occur and the "so called outcome" not being disclosed to the victim or victims family. The repeat offenders aren't expelled and barely suspended.Parent Review8mo ago19 Reviews - Hampton Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who attend Hampton Elementary and I think it is a fine school. Mr. Conway is an excellent principal - he works hard to engage families and staff and promotes a positive learning environment. One of my children has special needs and the school has worked hard to meet his needs. IEP meetings are held regularly and he receives the services he is supposed to receive per his IEP. I haven't seen the bullying issues someone else reported. The school has an active PTA which holds lots of activities for students and families. The school is very racially and economically diverse and as of the 2024-2025 school year, is no longer overcrowded!Parent Review10mo ago16 Reviews - Towson High Law & Public Policy

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very pleased with Towson High Law & Public Policy. My son and daughter have been attending this school for two years now, and they are both in Advanced Placement classes, as the teachers and staff have made it very easy for them to learn. But at first, Towson High wasn't my first option for my kids I wanted them to go to Dulaney but chose Towson as I was recommended and I am happy to say I chose Towson I thought it was a bad school but I was very wrong if you want your kid to be excited about school, to read, to learn I highly recommend Towson HighParent Review10mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 205 E Joppa Rd.

"There aren’t sidewalks in the whole neighborhood so you have to walk in the street. Otherwise, drivers are on the lookout for people walking, so I feel it’s rather safe."

"There is a small park in the neighborhood with a playground. Convenient to Safeway and the local neighborhood children have a bus stop at the corner of the main road. Children and parents collectively come together to wait for the bus together. The neighborhood is walkable with access to take walks during the day and in the evening without compromising safety, The local high school has a large track and field that is used by the local neighborhood individuals for walks/jogs, soccer and football.
