They held my kindergartner against his will in the classroom bathroom. My son had anxiety and panic attacks after the Christmas break and his teacher said it was because he was a “catered to only child” I asked if she noticed any changes to his behavior and she told me no. I found out he was being put in a “calm down” tent daily. So she lied to me. One of my son’s classmates stole something from him and his teacher made an excuse for the student saying she was the youngest of 5 kids in a chaotic house. Something she should not be sharing with me, and it was never returned and she shamed me for putting it on his backpack, when all the students have bag clips and this clip got him to go back to school when he was having anxiety because it calmed him down. There is a violent child in his classroom that is allowed to punch teachers, my son has been sick since school stated because the school does not clean. I met with the principal about the issues I had with his teacher and the concerns I had for my sons safety regarding the violent child and he asked if I had spoken to the child’s mom, that’s not my responsibility. I have talked to multiple parents that feel the new principal is not a good fit, he literally ignores all my messages. The girls in the office that used to be nice to me when I volunteered my time in my sons class now can’t even tell me my son is ok when they call like they used to and someone got into my sons backpack that is kept in the hall and stole his spare clothes and an Apple AirTag so I contacted them and gave them the address the AirTag was at, it it nowhere along the school bus route so this happened at school for sure and I was told “nothing we can do” everyone’s attitude has changed and they treat me like I did something wrong for sticking up for my son! Something ANY parent would do if their child was treated like mine. He’s going backward academically, there is 0 communication from the school, no help for his mental health, I was shamed by his teacher for choosing not to go to the 2nd conference with her because of the issues I have had and I definitely would stay far away from this school. All the other parents I speak with also have kindergartners that are miserable.

When I learned that 6th grade would be at middle school, I was a little nervous. I have to say Ogden made the transition not only smooth, but very enjoyable for my twins! They felt right at home and loved being there. The teachers and staff go above and beyond!!! Ogden Middle School is fantastic!

Great high school and very helpful and friendly.
