My son absolutely loves this school. He has supportive teachers that want to see him succeed, the student population and community were very welcoming with him leaving a BIG school district and starting here as a 4th grader. The biggest difference is that he can have a life outside the classroom, where our last big school loaded him down with needless busy homework. My child is thriving at Orrick, testing well above other students throughout the state, and actually is ENJOYING school again.

We moved from a larger school district to Orrick, and I could not be prouder to be a part of the BEARCAT family!!! My children are thriving, have a community of friends, and the teachers actually care about them and their success. My children used to hate school, and they were crammed full of unnecessary HOURS of homework every night—that has all changed. Orrick has given them an opportunity to participate in sports and other sponsored activities, grow relationships with students and staff, and enjoy school again. My kids are not just a number here like in larger schools, the student to teacher ratio allows them to get a private school education without the huge expense. They continue to test well above average (top 75th percentile) for Missouri MAP testing. If you ask me, this school is the best kept secret in the KC area.
