About this House

Aurora is a small, private building on a quiet street near large employers and popular restaurants. This carefully restored, impeccably maintained one-bedroom Victorian features ten-foot ceilings, bay windows, oak mantels, a marble bathroom, excellent HVAC, in-unit washer/dryer, electronic access control and more. This beautiful home is ideal if you want to experience the convenience of downtown living at a more relaxed pace.

Measuring 1,117 square feet, Apartment 3 is larger than most two-bedrooms perfect for a couple wanting lots of space to spread out. If you work from home, there's a bonus room that's ideally situated for a private office.

Unlike open-plan lofts, this home has a real kitchen with windows and lots of oversized 48" cabinets plus a pantry. And it has a gas-fired range hard to find these days. If you cook, you'll love this.

Aurora's corner location with generous windows provides ample natural light. There are four clothes closets plus your own 120 SF clean, well-lighted storage area for things you seldom use.

There are only two apartments per floor, and they are separated by a staircase, so you'll never hear a neighbor through a shared wall.

You can live here easily without a car, saving money you'd prefer to spend on something else. The Aurora has a 97/100 Walk Score with excellent transit service to anywhere in the region. Cincinnati's streetcar stops across the street; it's free to use and will take you all over Downtown and Over-the-Rhine. There are four Red Bike stations within two blocks. There is a new garage with electric charging stations a block away.

You'll probably never find a more immaculate building. This home has its own central air system, and we use extremely high-quality air filters which we change often. This apartment has new carpet.

This home is an excellent value at $1,250. At $1.12 per square foot per month, it's a bargain compared to most downtown apartments. People reside at Aurora for many years, only leaving when they buy a home or move to another city. We're happy to reduce the rent by $25 for a single occupant. The lease runs through March 31, 2023 with option to renew afterwards. Sorry -- we love animals, but Aurora is not a good place for pets.

Resident pays for electric, owner pays everything else. Minimum credit score of 700 required.

"I worked in the business district for years. I rather have a house in all honesty. Granted the commute to and from work would relatively short! Just not my thing to live that close to my job"
  • Jessica M.
"Easy to access all major highways. Easy to walk, bike, anywhere in downtown COVINGTON or cincinnati "
  • Jessica M.
"I drive to work mostly. Occasionally walk to local restaurants and bars. Use bird scooters. Use the streetcar sometimes. "
  • Spencer B.
"It’s a safe area if you live here you will most likely live in an apartment or taller house. Not very family friendly but there are great attractions very close like the art museum, findlay market, and other great things to do with kids. Most people work here but I live living downtown "
  • MN
"Unfortunately, sometimes dogs are unleashed, although park rules state all dogs must be leashed. Otherwise, people pick up after their pets for the most part and overall the area is fairly dog friendly. "
