"Traffic in Raleigh is awful. Infrastructure is far behind growth. And the local government is totally incompetent."
  • Dachatham
"Dogs everywhere! Dog park nearby and lots of sidewalks and wide streets to walk on. Not sure what else to say. "
  • Ashley K.
"Nice neighborhood to walk your dog, just be courteous and clean up after your pup! Also, drivers around here have a hard time paying attention—the roads are very narrow."
  • Brandy B. T.
"Five points is a great location to live with children. Plenty to do for all ages, and safe. Friendly neighbors and wonderful public amenities."
  • Arnold G.
"Easy acess to downtown and highway ... Groceries drugstore and others services close ... safe area very cozy "
  • Glenwood neighbor
"This is a wonderful neighborhood with a small town feel. We love living here! Happy to see continued investment in the neighborhood."
  • EClapp
"We have neighborhood “parades” for Halloween and Fourth of July. It feels like an old-fashioned community in the best way!"
  • Blessed
"Close to everything but feels like you are in the country. Lake wheeler, yates mill pond park, nc state farmers market, ncs, wake tech. Etc. Just a few minutes to downtown raleigh, cary and Apex. Shopping and entertainment are just minutes away."
  • Eczerwinski
"This is a very safe neighborhood. Kids play outside at the couple of neighborhood parks and sports fields. "
  • Jarrel H.
"Since moving into this neighborhood I’ve had nothing but a positive experience. All of the neighbors are friendly,l and the area is very welcoming."
  • Traceysikkel
"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for eleven years. It’s friendly, safe and easy access to downtown, restaurants and shopping. I never want to leave. "
  • Lowrytam
"Good location, great neighborhood, school, kids playing outside. It’s a great neighborhood with local restaurants within walking distance."
  • Jessica M.
"loads of kids and adult social events. Halloween parade. Easter egg hunts. Adult progressive dinners. Parties at the community salt water pool. All the kids playing in the communal play fields, alleys, and cul-de-sacs. The whole neighborhood is a playground! "
  • Nakia A.
"Great green spaces. The older houses have better space between them. People are buying these older homes on large lots and building super large houses which eat up the yard space and make the houses very close together. If you have kids the will have to play in the house, or the front yard nearer the street or you will have to take them to the park which is not very far. If you tear down and rebuild pick a house that will fit on your lot and still allow enough space that you can’t borrow sugar from your neighbor just by reaching out the window. "
  • Laura
"Work outside of five points. Traffic to/from chapel hill a nightmare if you keep be here. Must leave very early however and night it is just a crawl from 4 pm until 7 pm "
  • ilovemybabiesi
"I like my neighborhood, because it has a great location. It is convenient to shopping, groceries, physicians and many available places to work."
  • Tbradley1716
"Low traffic and easy to navigate. Lots of bus access. I can get to Cary for work in 20 minutes if I leave at 7"
  • Andpaulmet
"It’s a lovely area, close to Downtown, 440 and really anything you need. Five Points in the ideal location to live in the Raleigh area with its proximity to everything. "
  • Traceysikkel
"Easy access to the highway so my commute is around 15-20 minutes to work. I’m on a bus route to downtown and my neighborhood is very walkable with sidewalks and bicycle lanes on most roads. "
  • Mry2
"I love it! it is very safe and walking distance to almost everything and is near shopping centers! would not want to live anywhere else!"
  • Dachatham
"Affordable oasis in the midst of expensive homes. Get to live near the city but also close to midtown and suburbs. "
  • Matthew C.
"This is a great old neighborhood experiencing massive gentrification in which older homes are being renovated or replaced all the time with young families moving in."
  • jlucero000
"Yes, I do live here and I am seriously looking into moving. There are two nightclubs located on Paula st. that play there very loud music 7 days a week. You cannot sleep because of the bass, you cannot concentrate because of the loud music til 3.00 am,the police have given them many, many tickets,we as a neighborhood have gone to city of Raleigh without any success. If you do not want to be sleep deprived, high anxiety, stress etc do not move to this neighborhood."
