  • Nicole Riordan
"It’s a very dog friendly town - there’s a dog beach, most restaurants allow dogs in, they’re even welcome in many stores. "
  • Jessica Lutz
"I love my neighbors. They have become close friends!! We have block party “get togethers” and all the kids play outside together like it’s 1989 again. "
  • Libra18741
"Quite and friendly. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood and families. Walking distance from a lot of main shops."
  • Slatson003
"Tends to be a dog positive area. Lots of dog walkers on the streets at all hours. Quiet friendly and clean. "
  • Daniel Stewart
"My neighborhood has some good local restaurants within walking distance but does not have good public transportation "
  • Trevor E Smith
"Huntington Beach is a great town. I enjoy spending time at the beach and the great local activities available. "
  • Christopher blades
"There are no events put in in my neighborhood is. So I’d say no there is not any events going on. S"
  • Andrianasprivett
"Well paved sidewalks for dog walking, lots of regular parks and dog parks. Well maintained greenery and close to dog beach! "
  • Andrew Gerardo
"I’ve lived here for 37 years I know Huntington Beach in an out. There are great parts, good parts, and bad parts"
  • Trulia User
"I walk to work as my office is across the street. Its easy to get to stores via a car or walking. Driving to the next city only takes 10-15 minutes."
  • Dena L
"There are many people out walking their dogs everyday and I rarely ever see dog poop around the greenbelt or on the beach. "
  • Cdemogo
"We have lived in HB for 29 years. It used to be a sleepy little beach resort. Now that we are "on the map", traffic is terrible. If you live anywhere near Beach Blvd, Adams, Goldenwest or any of the other major streets (which there are many) you will hear traffic, especially motorcycles. Of course, this is just the price we pay for living in a city with great weather, access to upper scale shopping, freeway close to Disneyland, mountains and the desert. If you are considering HB and have never been here, I would consider visiting on a weekend so you can see and hear the impact the traffic will make on your daily life."
  • Frank P.
"I work based at home so I couldn’t tell ya. But it’s close enough to downtown when I have meetings down there to ride my bike down. And good access to freeways, the most I commute is to North County SD or Beverly Hills."
  • Alismithhb
"Huntington Beach has great schools and great neighborhoods. We’re also known as The Surf City. It’s a beautiful place to raise a family."
  • Mrs.kwsilver
"We just moved from Long Beach about 6 weeks ago. Love the neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. Beach is clean and beautiful. "
  • Monique M.
"Lots of untrained dogs off leash. The owners don’t always clean up after their pets. Fleas are a problem in the summer too"
  • Mary S.
"Dog walking is popular here and people respect keeping a distance from each other. Leash laws aren’t always followed at parks."
  • Framesm62
"It’s Huntington Beach what more can you ask for. Weather is gorgeous and the city is safe. Beach is close by for outdoor activities"
  • Erick.paulson
"Dog beach where you can take your dog for a walk and hang out at the beach with other dogs and dog owners "
  • Maya C.
"Nice place to raise kids excellent schools and well kept neighborhoods. I grew up here and currently have a small business. "
  • Kimberley A. A.
