"By the ocean. It’s small & very safe. Everyone knows each other. Close community. Very expensive. No regular public transport. No Uber or Lyft around."
  • John V.
"Views, well landscaped, pride of ownership maintained, one of kind neighborhood, limited services, but 20 minutes from Sebastopol to get what necessary. Amazing seafood, parks, birding activities"
  • John V.
"There is a a very supportive effort to have dogs with you. It is Dog friendly environment. Some patios, open spaces for pooches, but not at Bodega Head Park, across the bay....the area could use a bit more debris receptacles. The locals are supportive and welcoming. Good mix of family and retirees. It could use more services, but what is here gets the job done. Approx 15 minutes to Sebastopol 35 minutes to most services in Santa Rosa area. Only 1 gas station on the coast in Bodega Bay "
  • Lynn B.
"Bodega Bay is a special, special small coastal community in Northern California. Nearest towns with shopping are Sebastapol, Santa Rosa and Petaluma. If you work in these towns, you must drive, and you must be willing to drive 30-45 minutes to work each way, each day. Most people either work from home, work in Bodega Bay or are retired. "
  • Kate018
"I've lived here for 10 years. its quiet, friendly and very convenient. My husband and I own two business here which are in a 5 minute walking distance from my home."
