8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been disappointing in many ways, with emotionally unstable and disrespectful teachers, which I encountered throughout my three years. Some teachers blatantly play favorites, and while a few are kind, they’re rare. One incident involved a teacher who sent me and my friends back to class for laughing a bit too loudly in the hallway. I later returned to my seat, quietly, only for the same teacher to send me away again. She then called the assistant principal, who supported her actions, which felt unjust. Teachers should earn respect but not abuse their authority. Additionally, the school’s WiFi is unreliable, with internet issues in most of the building. Therefore I WOULDN’T recommend this school.Student Review1y ago17 Reviews - Coppell Middle West

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from this school before. While I was in this school, I saw my map test grades grow a lot and I learned a lot of new stuff and my STAAR results were amazing all because of this school and how much the teachers help us prepare. In 7th grade when I was a new student, I hated English class and I performed poorly but in 8th grade the teacher helped me and supported me and gave me tutoring and helped me with a lot of stuff, and by January I was doing incredible in English class and I even got my first 100 on an English assignment and I started to like English and it became my favourite subject and it is still my favourite subject to this day. The only negative about this school in my opinion is that the punishments are really strict, In 7th grade when I was a new student, it was the first time that I ever moved and I didn't understand the unwritten rules and I got bullied for it and people hated me and reported me for stuff I didn't do and I didn't know how to defend myself against their allegations and the assistant principal gave me an In-school-suspension for 3 days over something I didn't do or say. So, overall, it is a good school and a nice place to learn. Just be careful of the people there.Other Review8mo ago12 Reviews - Canyon Ranch Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been very happy with the school and its teachers. The school has a house system and promotes multi-age group work so younger ones are mentored by the older ones and helps them learn to communicate with all ages. The students have built a reputation of being hardworking and well-behaved. Great place to start the journey in Coppell ISD.Parent Review2y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near 2000 Hackberry Rd.

"The area is quiet, safe and people mind the slower speed limits. There are quite a few nice parks nearby as well as pickleball and tennis courts."

"We feel very safe here. I see children playing outside quite a bit unaccompanied by an adult. People seem to mind the slower speed limits. "

"I see people walking their dogs a lot. There are good parks in the area and sidewalks are fairly shaded. The vast majority of people clean up after their dogs."

"Living in Cimarron Trail was the worst decision I’ve made! Don’t get fooled by your smiling neighbor/s. They are nosy and love making false complaints against you that make them look stupid! I never recommend to anyone living in the area! Beware of double faced neighbors! They are disgusting"

"Nothing. It’s a boring area with nothing exciting except that it’s central. Schools are terrible unless you’re in Coppell ISD and it is not a very happening area. Doesn’t feel like you’re in America. We like to get away whenever we go out but we can get anywhere in the metroplex within 25 mins which is nice! "

"It’s a very dog friendly area. Parks, canals and other outdoor grassed locations are common allowing you to easily walk and exercise your pet. The dogs that are out and about are leashed at all times. I highly recommend Valley Ranch if you’re a dog lover and would prefer to live in a community who share similar ideals regarding pets."
