"No one in our household attends community events. We don’t find this to be a particularly pleasurable area to live. "
  • Trulia User
"Lots of local traffic during peak rush hour times but otherwise easy to navigate through neighborhoods."
  • Trulia User
"I lived here for the past 5 months. Seems like a pretty safe neighborhood. My mother and I take walks around the neighborhood or we go to mile square park. "
  • Trulia User
"Horrible neighborhood so unsafe !! I cant even go on walks because I don’t feel safe . Cars drive by super fast more than 60mph. Noisy neighborhood as well. Cops always pulling up at night. "
  • Trulia User
"I have grown up here has gotten much nicer and safer over the years love how close everything is lots of pros and fun things to do"
  • Trulia User
"Not a good neighborhood. People keep their houses and front yards very dirty. Lots of fireworks popping at night between May and July. "
  • Trulia User
"Great area for commute to everywhere in OC, LA, SD by car using freeway . There is train and buses. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s just okay. Thought the people the own the place would be honestly and trustworthy but it wasn’t like that"
  • Trulia User
"Good place to live and good people live in this area, good stores, parks school etc, great access to feeeway "
  • Trulia User
"early morning traffic is the worst between 7-8am ather than that its pretty good. no nosy neighbors on my block"
  • Trulia User
"it is close to all major freeways and airports. lots of good places to eat and shop. traffic is not a problem and it is quiet at night. "
  • Trulia User
"They'll like the open space at the park but may not like the density of people living in the neighborhood "
  • Trulia User
"near school and stores hospitals not too far away as well as the mall. parking is limited and permits are required"
  • Trulia User
"My neighborhood is as boring as they come. Financial buildings, fast food, and shopping. This place has nothing to do. "
  • Trulia User
"The dogs love the park and the baseball fields are a great place to let your dog run off leash in a (mostly) fenced in area"
  • Trulia User
"lots of off leash dogs wandering. i find it difficult to walk my dogs. the people are friendly and helpful."
  • Trulia User
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a couple years now. During the day it is relatively safe. But at night it changes very quickly. I hear gunshots most nights, neighbors reporting cars getting stolen and broken into as well as homes getting broken into. Definitely not the worst neighborhood in SA but not the best."
  • Dylan D.
"Seems like a friendly area. I don’t do much with the community but feels safe. Neighbors are good, sometimes loud but that’s expected with apartments. "
  • Hazelbethe1022
"This is a wonderful, charming, well maintained neighborhood. Everyone, no matter race, religion, ethnicity or orientation is welcomed and welcome. There are always people walking, Biking, skateboarding, any conveyance is seen. Young children and the elderly are seen interacting easily and happily. I’ll be sad to leave!"
  • Joeyvaliente
"hidden gem of santa ana. very quiet and lota of trees and smiling neigbors. reasonable price for huge houses."
  • Alejandra M.
"No a bad community since is very close to south coast plaza and it’s located in the city limit. I definitely feel safer living here that I probably would living farther down in the city. "
  • Glojacobo
"There is A museum is close by. There are Many walking distance locations . It’s pretty quiet in this part of town "
  • Matv70
"Our community has a lot of dog owners. We re all responsible and kind to one another. Sadly there Is the occasional pet owner who won’t pick up after their dogs "
  • Matv70
"Since we’re near 5, 22 and 57 freeway. It’ s great for commuting anywhere to Orange County, Los Angeles County or Riverside County."
  • Joseph R.
"Freeway less than 1 mile away. Close to shopping and schools. However, the schools are rated poorly! "
  • Jess H.
"great, I live in Santa Clara Ave. and Tustin. I like the school and the community, I'm near from markets"
  • Ahmed M.
"It's an Ok neighborhood, I don't mind living here but you gotta be careful what part of Santa ana you stay at"
  • Joseph R.
"Many people walk their dogs here... the City doesn’t Center median’s sidewalks and curbs. In one day I reported 50 graffiti locations on a two mile walk. This location is Expensive because it’s near South Coast Plaza on the City of Santa Ana side. The elementary junior high and high school suck. The School district is rated very low within the state of California. As soon as my children are old enough to understand school we are moving. "
  • Josue F.
"You can walk and play outside your house with out any issues feel like you are on your back yard but with out fance "
  • Salvadorlupercio20
"Bike trail access for all dog lovers in the community where you can have dogs walk and have accessibility if homes have small backyards"
  • Luis D.
"Ever since i was a kid its was horrible to live then in my high school days it went ok to live here now its still ok but when we need to go out to the stores or something we all go together .. the sad part there are good homeless people that are actually nice."
  • Alejandro M.
"I am friends with all my neighbors. Community is friendly. It is central to many freeways and other shopping location necessities. I enjoy living close to the park. My backyard is very small. "
  • Jazmin .
"Parking is difficult and theft is an issue here. Security is very lax so you have to keep vigilant. There are a number of kids in the area"
  • Courtney N.
"There is a misconception of Santa Ana being a bad city to live in but you have to be aware of your surroundings just like any other city. There are good and bad parts, though the culture and development in Santa Ana is thriving. "
