We moved to Scott City and ended up not liking it, we did not even last here a year. One of our main reasons was because of my child's school, Scott City Elementary. They offered a lot of activities to the kids but very disorganized. I signed up my child for several of these activities and was told that I would be hearing from the coordinator when they were going to start, but I never heard anything. I was told that it's a small city so everyone usually knows about things from the grapevine, not fair of course to any new people, like my family. They also never sent me the rest of my pro-rated student service fee as promised. The teacher also did not have my child's check out paperwork finished and I gave her a month's notice of us leaving before school was out. She said she would mail it and she never did.
