"Finding antiques will be easy in the historically-themed village of Delafield. Several of the downtown buildings have Williamsburg-style motifs. Located right off the freeway, St. John’s Military Academy brings people in from around the world. The community is close to shopping, golfing, sailing, cross country skiing, bike trails and more – yet still has a small town atmosphere. Residents of Delafield have a private boat launch available on Nagawicka Lake for an annual fee. Nagawicka Park is a county park with a really great beach, boat launch, camping, acres of hiking and picnic areas great for summer days. The Hwy 83 interchange boasts a collection of department stores, a variety of specialty shops, an array of restaurants, and friendly accommodations for the overnight visitors. The 7,000 residents of Delafield are never short on things to do – boating, fishing, skiing, Delafield Library events, biking, Lapham Peak State Park hiking, dining at the Seven Seas or Golden Mast Restaurant on the lake or the many other restaurants in town, enjoying the many city parks, visiting the Nagawicka Yacht Club and skating at the indoor ice rink.
