9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEllsworth is truly a wonderful school nestled in the heart of the Historic District that offers a small school experience in an urban environment. I currently have three children at Ellsworth and we love it. The small class sizes mixed with excellent teachers, an outstanding principal and kind students sets this school apart from the rest. Truly a quality academic experience and a close community connection!Parent Review9y ago8 Reviews - Naperville North High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a special needs parent they don’t have the funding to follow an IEP. They pay so low that they don’t have para professionals in place. Shame on you 203. If this was AP or athletics department you will be all over it too keep your place as a great schoolParent Review1y ago15 Reviews - Washington Jr High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDisappointing. We moved from a top school district and were happy to enroll our child in a Naperville school. Our child has an IEP, mild reading/language disability but the last district did a nice job and we saw consistent growth over the years in our child's ability to learn and confidence. Our year at Washington was unpleasant. Our child complained that the special education teachers just gave answers to tests, did not help our child learn. At one point our child was very upset and said the special education teacher just marked the questions that were wrong on the test then gave it back and told our child to change them. When we questioned this with the school and district administrations the only thing that happened was retaliation. Our child then received no services at all. When asking the special education teacher to clarify a question on a test (that is one of our child's accommodations) our child was sarcastically told they were not allowed to help. It was an awful year. At her IEP review you could feel the tension and the assistant principal was irritated. He tried to remove IEP services and said there was no way he would approve it except for the fact we had enrolled our child in a private school. District 203 parents give the district everything on a silver platter: tax money, wonderful facilities, great pay and retirement. Can't they find employees who truly care if students learn? I have heard from another with the same experience who removed her child. The teachers there were very kind and deserve better special education professionals.Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 200 E 5th Ave #252.

"Here at Benedetti drive in Naperville I know that has a lot of babies and little kids, but people barely go outside. I know because I see sometimes those families in the parking lot going out with their cars; but they don’t walk with their kids. "
