7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe reviews mean nothing. Every person EXEPT maybe the few that saw the “good” statistics of the school do not do good. Bad influence. Metal detectors for guns and vapes at front that do bad job. Teachers make hard to learn. Building also smells and escalators always broken.Other Review2y ago2 Reviews - Ps 116 Mary Lindley Murray

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am extremely disappointed with the way concerns about student safety have been handled at this school. Multiple staff members have witnessed a staff member putting their hands on a student inappropriately, the student also has special needs, and these concerns have reportedly been brought to the principal’s attention on numerous occasions through emails and in-person reports.Despite repeated complaints, no meaningful action appears to have been taken. The student has openly stated that the staff member hits them, yet the staff member continues to work directly with the student. This has left many employees concerned that reports are not being taken seriously and that the well-being of students is not being prioritized.A school should be a safe environment where students are protected and concerns are thoroughly investigated. When multiple people raise the same concerns and nothing changes, it creates a lack of trust in the school’s leadership and commitment to student safety.I hope the appropriate steps are taken to ensure that all reports are properly reviewed and that every student receives the protection and support they deserve.Other Review1mo ago28 Reviews - Jhs 104 Simon Baruch

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI DONT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL, THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL HAVES FAVORITISM TOWARDS KIDS THAT DONT HAVE IEP, THE STAFF CALLS ALL THE TIME FOR THINGS THAT NOT AN EMERGENCY, INSTEAD OF IMPORTANT THINGS THAT ALWAYS LAST MINUTE. THE TEACHERS RESPOND LATE, THE TEACHERS DONT HELP THE STUDENTS THEY PREFER ANOTHER STUDENT TO HELP INSTEAD, WHEN KIDS BULLY OTHER KIDS THEY DONT HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE, THE AMOUNT OF FAVORITISM IN THIS SCHOOL IS HUGE AND THE STAFF ARE ALL UNPROFESSIONAL. IF YOUR CHILD HAVES An IEP DONT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE, HE/SHE WON'T GET THE RIGHT EDUCATION.Parent Review2mo ago36 Reviews - Check out schools near 200 E 33rd St #4e.

"I bike most of the time or use the subway of I’m going farther than a 20 minute bike ride. The 6 train or buses work pretty well "

"This is NYC. It’s a city. Be wary and always watch your children and who you leave them with. Early to bed and early to rise and you will keep away the bad vibes. "
