About this House

If you are looking for privacy and land but want to be a quick drive to main roads, this is the home for you. This beautiful, comfortable home sits back off the road on five acres of wooded land. There have been many upgrades over the past five years including new well and septic pumps, tankless water heater, chimney and fireplace. This 3,200 square foot 4-bedroom 3 bath home does not lack for space. With 3 bedrooms and two baths on the main floor along with kitchen, living and dining room, you can live comfortably on the main floor without having to go up and down stairs to get to your bedroom. The living and dining room's large windows bring in light, but the house remains comfortable and cozy. You'll get to see the beauty of autumn leaves changing colors while sitting at your dining room table. Watching snow fall in the winter while sitting by the fireplace is romantic and enchanting. The lower level has a bedroom and full on-suite bath perfect as an in-law or guest suite. Windows and patio doors bring in light to the lower level and make it feel very spacious. For animal lovers there is a chicken coop and invisible fence. Start the morning with fresh eggs while your dog enjoys the back yard. The wrap around porch is perfect for outdoor entertaining in the spring and summer, grilling, serving fresh food from the garden, bird watching and relaxing. Nature surrounds this home. The home is five minutes to the elementary and middle school in North Pocono School District, twenty minutes to Scranton, 30 minutes to Mt. Airy Casino, Tannersville Outlets, many water parks, and approximately 45 minutes to the Delaware Water Gap. Showings by appointment only. "This entire community is dog friendly. Everyone enjoys dogs, even the schools have dogs. I would say households own dogs in this area."
  • Dcoperti
"Cow flop and maple lake church events. The Cub Scout and Boy Scout group is very active. I also like the fact that the borough area for dumping grass and bushes and stuff is always open "
  • Hosiah

  • Rich G.
"Great town, nice Parks and trails. Town police coverage. Great schools. safe. Good library and churches "
  • Goyeehaw
"You need a car. There is a Dollar General about a mile away. The mall or downtown Scranton are only about 10 minutes away by car. A 10 minute drive will be all you need to reach most any kind of store; doctor office, hospital, gas station, etc. "
  • Sara A.
"Surrounded by nature. Small-town living is the best in so many ways. Excellent place to raise a family. "

"I drive myself. There are no buses. It is a rural area but close to Scranton. It is only 10 minutes to Scranton or the mall in Dickson City. There is a bear in our neighborhood.. It is a beautiful area with wonderful neighbors. A car is needed. "
  • Goyeehaw
"The firemen’s picnic and breakfast at one. Of the firehouses once a month. We have had block parties in the past. Also, a community yard sale. Neighbors here get together and are very friendly and nice."
  • Janfaithlanton
"It’s country but it’s not. You are close to everything. It’s clean and safe. There’s a lot of land and there’s a lot to do. "
  • Dmxrider1122
"I have owned a home in Moscow Pa for over a year now and I have to say it is the most beautiful serene town you will come across throughout Northeastern Pa. It's very quiet and peaceful, the neighbors are great and are non-intrusive. The town is centrally located just right, Scranton 15 minutes away, Wilkes Barre 25 minutes away, Montage Mtn. only 15 minutes away, and New York City only 1 hour 45 minutes away. Fantastic area to raise your children, the high school is brand new only a few years old and has one of the best overall ratings in the Northeast. Absolutely love living in Moscow and cannot see my family living anywhere else."
  • raydryden
"I live in the area. The area is quiet and relatively safe right now, but there is a transient population center within half-a-mile which reduces safety and security in the area somewhat. There are no local activities for most residents. Scranton is more than seven miles away."
