8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA truly excellent public high school; its quality would definitely match some private high schools. The arts programs are fantastic, the teachers are generally highly-regarded, and it manages to get students into some pretty great colleges. I'd say the only significant drawback would be the guidance department-if you or your child wishes to go a school other than the University of Maine, be prepared to do a lot of the work yourself.
