McNeal Elementary School is a wonderful, ideal small school! I cannot say enough good things about it! All 3 of our kids have attended here, and they all had positive experiences with all of their teachers and administration. The staff really care about the students, and they give of themselves in many ways to invest in their students. They go out of their way to accommodate students' special needs and even to reach out to the families. They truly care. They have done a great job with keeping school going despite COVID while taking necessary precautions. There is a high standard in the school for behavior and an emphasis on character, in particular. We couldn't be happier with our experience at McNeal Elementary! We highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

"I have a home there lived 4 years there and plan to go back in a few years. I miss Elfrida...its rural so have to drive to get to towns for real shopping but Elfrida has enough amenities to tide you over tile could go shopping in Sierra Vista or Douglas. Nice place to live if retired, no jobs much, small classes in school who do wonders with special ed kids..good programs there for special kids. As long as you can handle rural quiet Elfrida is a great place. AVERAGE AGE IS LIKE 65 SO SINGLES..not a place to meet your next mate I would say lol "

"Live nearby. Fantastic old fashioned country living with excellent community spirit, lots of free class via Chicahahu Community center, community garden, 4H, art groups, horses, goats and cows and thousands of sandhill cranes, hummingbirds, etc. "
