Seasonal primitive camp with two rooms separated by a covered deck area, on about a half acre (about the middle third) of the island known as Middle Island at rhe north end of Square Pond (NOT the island indicated, but the smaller one to the south of it). No electric service, no running water, no septic. There is a grandfathered outhouse. The access and dock on West Shore Drive is shared with the owner of the other camp on Middle Island and the owner of the camp on Blaney's Island, the next island to the south.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageShapleigh Memorial is an amazing school. The staff is caring, compassionate, and professional. They work hard as a team to meet the individual needs of the children. There is a big focus on building empathy for one another, learning from mistakes and being kind. In being such a small school, everyone knows every child by name and they really become like a family. During Covid, the school remained open, providing families with either a remote or in-person experience. The majority of the students is a whole different story though, however. Gossip is common in this school and this might be of concern to some parents. Besides the gossip, this school is very aimed to be a bully-free place, and I'd say that in general it is a good-intentioned school.Other Review13y ago
