We moved to Wallingford from Philadelphia for the school system and we made the best choice. The principal is incredible, she knows every single child almost immediately, and recognizes parents within the first week. She is incredibly dedicated to the children, as are the teachers. My son loves this school so much and looks forward to school every day! There are great after school programs as well. I cannot say enough great things about the school.

My experience at this school is a mixed bag, on one hand it's very clean, has good and experienced teachers (depending), has a diverse staff and student body, has some very good opportunities, and cares a lot about extra cariculars. On the other hand, bullying is not taken very seriously, fights happen often, students vape often and occasionally smoke weed in the bathrooms and in class, phone policy is not very strict, and advanced English options are sorely lacking. But overall it is (in my opinion) a good environment for the average child and may be a bad fit for a seriously advanced student.

This school is much better than one of those school district of rich people where no kids will compare clothing, brand name, or be laughed when wearing no name brand outfit. The students help each other, and teachers are always available. My child said when she graduated and moved on an Ivy League school, she was ready, because school taught them good problem solving schools.
