  • Jeff Ganis
"Nice scenic drive along the river through quaint towns, past wineries and over covered bridges. It is a beautiful area to live in"
  • Dbgrooves
"Other dogs are always around. There is some wildlife like deer, raccoons, squirrels etc. River and canal close by for swimming. Canal path great for running/biking with dogs. Fire house has very loud siren. "
  • Samantha V.
"Yearly summer soap box derby near the elementary school. There isn't really any giant community events within the town, but we are driving distance to other interesting events in nearby towns."
  • SV
"Once your kids become middle schoolers. There is nothing for them to do here within a 10min drive. Unless they are into the 4H fair or anything to do with farm life. Closest town only has mediocre restaurants and okay selection for shopping, but after your kids max out your credit cards they are gonna want to do something else. Plus the elementary school sucks at helping special needs children."
  • Crosby M.
"Delaware Township is a great place to raise a family! Very safe, close to the Delaware River, close to both major cities, very quaint, and great sense of community! "
  • Pegeen L.
"They can run free on big property lots. Every house it seems has at least one dog off leash. It’s dog heaven. "
  • Vinamoco
"Beautiful area horse country. If you like the outdoors fishing hunting or just love to watch the wildlife then this is the place you would want to live. Everyone is friendly and polite. "
  • Anna Silvani Morrison
"This is the best place in the State of NJ to live. Hands down. The people are friendly, your taxpayer dollars are spent on you. The school is top knotch. A dream come true."
  • Nikiisalazar
"Some people may fear your dog if a bigger breed other than that its very pet friendly . Post office lady brings her dog to work every day"
  • Eileenwolfe
"Car only. No public transportation. No food delivery ! Rural area Not for folks who like a lot happening. At least 15 minutes to get anywhere for anything"
  • Nikiisalazar
"Great area very quiet no one bothers you everyone is very friendly always saying hello. They have a small farmers market from late spring to fall have small events with the locals. fire department always has events . Overall GREAT area . Its just stores are atleast 10-15 minutes away. And almost nothing delivers. "
