10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was not a great experience. We actually wish we chose a different school, but it’s hard to change once your kids are settled. Happily, our youngest kid is heading to Middle School next year, so we can leave Milton behind.They have done well academically, however, they feel like they didn’t do well. You will need to pay for tuition to have your kid perform at the highest levels. Teachers seem to downgrade performance at the start so that it looks like they ‘progressed’ the kids more than might actually be the case. This school teaches to the test and lessons are often very uninspiring for kids.If you are not part of the Country Club set, you will probably be better off in another school. Osborne and Midland are far more welcoming, I hear.Milton is tucked away on a quiet street, with a nice play area, lots of fresh air and a modern building with A/C.Parent Review6y ago - Rye High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience with my children who attend the HS, the school system, administration, staff and security are among the best in the state. The School offers a wide range of AP courses, electives, clubs, sports and music programs. The teachers are all very knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and are always there to answer question, and many have after school X periods to help with homework. The sports programs are competitive, but well run and inclusive. There is very little mean spiritedness or bullying. Most students are enthusiastic about their classes and are college ready for top schools when graduating. I would highly recommend this school. 10/10Parent Review2y ago - Rye Middle School
