great! i like going here only complaint is some means students but thats all

Nothing but positive things to say about this school. We’re in our 10th year in this school system and we’re very happy with our experience.

I don’t know how LES has such a high rating on here. When Ivey made ACAP mandatory pass in 3rd this admin panicked because they knew the entire 3rd grade was about to fail. Teachers were required to stay after to tutor and others began charging to tutor at the local library. There was literally a steady line of kids and teachers in the library for months. Why weren’t these kids already prepared to do well on this test? They were never teaching them. They throw them on iready all day while the teachers sit at their desk “working”. They constantly post contradictory info on their page and then turn off comments so you cannot ask clarifying questions. Good luck trying to find out where you child stands academically. All you will be told is “there is nothing to worry about” and then two weeks before thanksgiving break you will get a letter stating they are behind and you need to schedule a meeting. The PTA is a scam. You “joining” at the beginning of the school is joining to give them money. Yep - you pay to join and then…nothing…no meetings, no volunteering to help nothing. And then there is the principal Mrs. Jones. She rarely returns calls or emails and when she does she lies about incidents to cover themselves. When you ask for the cameras to be review she disappears. Gee I wonder why. If you stay in this district pray you child doesn’t get hurt because you won’t find out until they get off the bus. Just scroll through the Parents page for a bit and you will easily see where the issues lie.
