"The fall season brings fun harvest festival. During the summer it’s very touristy near the beach which is a short 5 min walk"
  • Alexandra S.
"Summer evenings are wonderful within the community. Neighbors visit each other and it’s a really great time."
  • Lorin
"You can walk to necessities very convenient in summer fall months , but winter you have to drive more because it’s seasonal on the beaches here. No public transportation . "
  • Elizabeth
"This is a well run condo community. The public schools are excellent."

"We have been summer residents for 11 years. Fireworks, music nightly at the gazebo, shops, rest., animal kingdom etc..."

"York Sewer District is steps away from this area. Ick. When the wind shifts, lookout!"
  • A2metoons
"This area is breathtaking! Reminds me much of Ireland! Long Sands Beach which is very close by, is great for families, singles, couples or even just a trip with friends. This property would be great for summer time because you can avoid parking issues along the beach. BUUUYYY ITTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"For Walkers, not a lot of sidewalks for a beach town, unless you are right on the beach. Too many people that drive 10 under the speed limit. There are also a lot of folks that think they own the whole town. Very nice safe place to raise a family. Desired school system. Very quaint and clean and of course some breath taking views......Also has a lot of nice wooded neighborhoods, even some near the beach. Shopping is expensive, gas is expensive, NH is 9 miles away so do you shopping there and gas up, of course most of the residents seem to have a lot of money so it doesnt matter. The town closes early, Hardware, restaurants (some open near the beach late) The town has zero Fast food joints, or coffee places, If you get some take out plan on spending a bit more than you would in most towns. All in all, Its a nice place to live, The negatives are really just my pet peaves and I believe I am in the minority as most folks want the day to come to an end. Most of the residents probably get up at 430 am and go to bed at 8p so it works well for them. For me, I live here because my family loves it and I just pay for it. I love the summers and that makes it all worth it. I know I sound a little back and forth, but when you pay good money to live in an area like this you just want it to have it all. "
