"The village of Assonet is like stepping back in time. Quaint area, very quiet and peaceful. Lots of area amenities, local shops, gas, sandwich shops, pizza places and Assonet Inn. 2 area parks. Freetown State Forest within walking distance with bike and hiking trails. Awesome area for all. Fantastic mix of singles, families, couples and retirees. Strong sense of community. Love it here!"
