7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis Mansfield High School is the measure for all other school to reach. The teachers are compassionate and professional. The curriculum is rigorous and prepares all students for the next level with opportunities for various extra-curricular activities as well as dual credits and certifications. The Security measures in place, to include manned Metal Detectors, someone checking ALL of the doors ALL of the time to make sure they are locked, and visitors must ring the video door bell to be cleared to enter, makes me feel better about sending my kids to school there. This counselor, instead of addressing the psychological needs of my child and contacting me with a referral for a therapist, took the opportunity to preach to my child about God. The counselor did not bother to find out our religious affiliation beforehand. More disturbing is that this was the one and only action taken to address the situation.
