This has been our first year at Century Elementary. We have a Kindergartner and third grader. This has been an absolutely amazing year for our kids! The overall "feel" in the school seems to be so caring and nurturing. The principal is VERY attentive and approachable. Excellent communication with parents! Ms Lempola and Mrs. Hanson are FABULOUS!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful year!

My experience with this school has been overwhelmingly negative. The issues start with the administration, which is disorganized, unresponsive, and often dismissive of students’ concerns. Communication is inconsistent at best, and important information is frequently delivered late or not at all.The classroom environment isn’t much better. Many teachers seem burnt out or unprepared, and lessons often feel rushed or poorly planned. It’s clear that support for educators is lacking, and unfortunately, students are the ones who suffer for it.Facilities are outdated, poorly maintained, and in some cases outright unsafe. Technology rarely works, cleanliness is questionable, and basic resources are limited. Instead of addressing these problems, the school appears to ignore them year after year.What’s most disappointing is the overall atmosphere. Rather than feeling welcoming or supportive, the school feels chaotic and neglected. Students don’t seem encouraged, inspired, or even heard.I genuinely hope the leadership takes these issues seriously, because the students deserve far better than what this school is currently offering.
