This school has the potential to be great, maybe even possibly capable of not being in the lower 50% percentile of quality in education for the entire state of NM if they were to rid the biased, unprofessional, discriminative staff, starting with the vice principal of GHS. I've dealt with nothing but discrimination, misconduct and unprofessionalism for years from GHS, I've filed several complaints in regards to numerous instances involving staff (vice principal) at GHS, it's embarrassing and sad that rather than leading by example certain individuals do not hold themselves to a higher standard, considering their titles and positions, but rather join in on bullying, and using their titles as oppression against parents and students, such as name calling, falsifying information, wrongly denying my children their education, gossiping to staff and students about parents etc etc etc. It is no wonder our county is ranked significantly lower than other counties in New Mexico, for quality of education the staff themselves would much rather gossip, name call and look down on members of this community, rather than identifying their own mental capacities and capabilities, and the effect their behavior has on parents and students who have to rely on these individuals to look after and teach our children. Such sad circumstances.

I moved to this school in the middle of seventh grade. I thought living in a small town like Grants, people would welcome me but no I was wrong. No one even said hi to me, not even the teachers. The teachers saw how lonely I was and yet none of then spoke to me. I used to hide in the restroom because I was so lonley after lunch that I was embarasses I sat by myself everywhere I went. WORST SCHOOL EVER.

This school is a great school! I went here as a child now my children are attending it. Although it is very different and upgraded:)
