If I'm being 100% honest. DO NOT send your kid here. The school is miserable, kids are rude, they don't really do anything about bullying, unless you stand up for yourself, then YOU get punished. The teachers are alright but some of them don't let you get a drink or use the bathroom. They will yell are you and degrade you and make your self esteem go to the bottom of the barrel. Honestly it sucks here. Most importantly the half edible food. the only thing that slightly taste decent is the pizza on a good day when the cheese is crispy.

"I don't live in town, so I'm not much help, but I go through it a lot. I do see residents walk their dogs often. There's quite a bit of area to walk your dog if you ask me. One thing dog owners may have issues with is I don't see many homes with a large amount of yard space. If you move outside of the town just a little bit, there's quite a bit of open space, though! I live on the outskirts and can say there's lots of space out here for a dog to play and do whatever!"

"Very family or like family oriented area , neighbors having picnics turn into a whole event. Very welcoming overall and friendly , rural community but close to shopping basics ."

"Nescopeck is a small community, Rt. #93 goes through the Borough. East access to Rt. #80; continue to Conyngham for the entrance ramp. PSU has a campus on Rt. #93 ..... continue driving toward Hazleton. See Hazleton campus signs. There are two appliance and furniture retail outlets.....a few restaurants and a bake shop; 2 gas stations, a bank branch for First Keystone, chiropractic office, an insurance office..........just a nice place to consider for your next house. We sell the American dream........give us a call, we'll be glad to help you. Quality service with attention to details. "
