4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is in his second year at Stono Park. I have really appreciated Stono Park and found it to be an excellent school. It is obvious that the teachers and staff here work tirelessly to benefit the students and create a good environment. I am very, very impressed by how much they go above and beyond to do special things like the evening events with families (back to school wellness fair, Candyland themed math game night, around-the-world themed literacy night, student performances, board game night, bingo night, etc.). My child likes his teachers and class mates. On the first day of Kindergarten, he was so nervous (of course!), but on the first day of the next school year he bounced out of bed and exclaimed that he was excited for school! I have seen how being at Stono Park has helped him be excited for school.Parent Review5mo ago47 Reviews - C. E. Williams Middle School For Creative & Scient

"We have a great age mix. Is is close to our schools, Daniel Island Elementary, Bishop England High School, and Daniel Island Academy. DI is walkable to our downtown, schools, and library."

"There are many reactive dogs on leash and in fenced yards next to sidewalks. Some people walk dogs off leash. There is a dog park. Some owners do not respect people’s yards and some owners do not collect their dog’s waste."

"We’re tight with our neighbors but don’t do “neighborhood cook outs”. Or weird HOA things. It’s a chill, respect each other kind of neighborhood "

"Congested. Poor quality roads. Streets are one-way because people park their multiple cars on the street rather than on their driveway. Too many speeders and big trucks."

"Declining neighborhood. No HOA enforcement, too many rentals. If the covenants were enforced the property values would increase dramatically."

"There is alot of love in Charleston, the infrastructure is small and basic, it is not equipped for the large number of people that have migrated here and crowd our roads. With the traffic ad bad as it is now, you can give up that No. 1 city in America to live in. Really though, this town still amazes me. I can't think of anywhere that I would rather be."
