About this House

So much larger than it appears from the street, this ranch style home offers 3 bedrooms (plus a 4th bedroom in the finished basement) and 3.5 bathrooms. What looks like a tidy ranch from the outside is actually a sprawling home with over 3500 square feet of living space. Enter through the foyer and into the living room that is currently being used as a library/office space. You will notice the windows have custom stained-glass windows inserts in many of the rooms, and this room is no exception. French doors in the adjoining formal dining area look out to the private yard. A wall of cabinets provides storage and buffet space. The kitchen is nicely updated. Thoughtfully designed with Corian counters, updated appliances and warm oak cabinetry, this is a kitchen that makes easy work of keeping everyone fed. The kitchen is truly the heart of this home, and it is open to an informal dining area with the coolest brick fireplace and beamed ceilings. The attached family room feels more like a sunroom with a wall of large windows and entrance to a screened-in porch. The porch is my favorite spot. Private and casual, it is the best spot to listen to the birds and relax. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are at the other side of this floor. Two large bedrooms share a full bathroom with striking wallpaper. The primary bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom with a modern glass-door shower. Walking down to the basement is a landing that leads to the attached two-car garage. This landing has a great half bathroom and a gorgeous stained-glass window. The garage is equipped with an EV charger and a second refrigerator. The basement is finished and offers a second family room and a huge multi-purpose room with a wet bar. There is also a fourth bedroom in the finished are of the basement with an ensuite full bathroom. The mechanicals room has ample shelving for storage as well as a new furnace, a whole-house dehumidifier and new water heater. See supplements for a full list of updates.
