"It’s a small town but it’s not wanna those Small towns where people know everything about you. It’s really a small town where on Fridays you watch football and order jj pizza on the way home so you can make it to the high school in time for them Friday night lights to kick on. I honestly never thought I’d ever end up here but definitely glad I did."
  • Jessica Lipko
"I have to be honest with myself about this because I think it is a good place to start a family and raise my children. Schools are great and small businesses thrive. Definitely this over a big city, hands down. I would highly recommend and encourage you to join my community. It’s a wonderful small town with lots of parks and restaurants and side walks to get around. And there is always something to do. Tonight there’s a street fair because school just let out. Always activities for the community all were really missing is a community swimming pool. So if you’re interested in starting a family, Scottdale should definitely be included in a choice on your list. Also tons of churches and a nice public laundry mat that offers curbside services and delivery to your front door. Can’t beat that."
  • Andrew K.
"Wonderful and quiet neighborhood. Excellent Police dept and Fire dept. Small town where everyone is friendly."
  • osselbornej
"Horrible local leadership, sky high taxes, 30 minutes away from decent amenities, increasing drug traffic, increasing rental populations."
  • osselbornej
"Lived in Scottdalw for 15 years. Small town mentality, poor local leadership, crumbling infrastructure, low return on tax dollar investment. Drugs and crime are moving in, strongly recommend careful consideration before making a financial investment in thus area."
  • Meghan
"It’s a dog friendly town. I see people walking their dogs every day and I see lots of dogs in their yards when we’re around town. "
  • Kristine L.
"you feel safe here for the most part. there are more drugs starting to become more of a problem than it used to be. "
  • Kristine L.
"gone down hill bad. school district has gone down hill. does not feel as safe as it use to. a lot of crime and drugs in the area."
  • 125laura88
"Great community events. Very welcoming neighborhood. Feels good to know the school district takes safety and academics very seriously. "
  • Gscottyk72
"The activities and festivals throughout the year that they have in town. The friendly small town atmosphere "
