5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from mohonasen in January 2022, and I’ve never experienced a school that cared less about its students. Teachers, counselors, even the superintendent. The building and town itself isn’t horrible, but the environment the school created is far from optimal for learning.Parent Review4y ago5 Reviews - Herman L Bradt Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePulled my son from there after only one year of kindergarten. Bullying was never addressed, from teacher to principal and super intendant. My son was hit by another student and when the two started fighting in the cafeteria the lunch monitor broke them up and no one notified me, I found out from my son telling me that night. I got him off the bus one day reeking of urine because he had an accident at lunch time and the teacher “didn’t notice” so he spent the rest of the school day with his jeans drenched from his waistband to his knees which was clearly visible to everyone else around him, including other children who were asking why his pants were wet. The security guard is rude and frequently argues/takes an attitude with parents to the extent that I’ve watched screaming matches during drop off/pick up. My son has been so much happier, not to mention better educated since leaving that school and I would never send him back.Parent Review4y ago3 Reviews - Pinewood Elementary School

"The quiet setting on the evening traffic, quiet down the wildlife in the backyard. The trains that go by in the back not something you see every day houses are somewhat far apart, so it makes it hard to get to know your neighbors, but I did meet one very nice elderly gentleman Close proximity, and driving distance to stores, markets and restaurants"

"the neighborhood is increasingly becoming questionable, along with loud music from neighbors who have no consideration for others in the surrounding, last but not least cars do not obey the speed limit during the day or night making it unsafe for both adults and children in the neighborhood."

"A very nice neighborhood seems like a safe there’s not many stores near it but it is a supermarket people are very responsible and you need a car you can use the bus or cab and sometimes bikes or motorcycles but it seems like it’s safe for the children and the people. Love the scenery an the area has a high school and elementary schools near it very good building up their neighborhood and keeping their streets in their lawn clean."
