"Easy and not congested. And the drive is pleasant with beautiful houses and nature. We love that this city has more nature and trees than other neighboring cities. "
  • Odunayo Adewumi
"The school system is great, and the neighborhood is free of any criminal activities. Employment opportunities are spread all over "
  • Jeremybwolf
"Beautiful homes, well maintained lawns. 27 minutes to get to the heart of Detroit. It’s fantastic, the best place to live in Michigan "
  • Scott_pepin
"There are many sidewalks in the area and you see a lot of families walking their dogs during the evenings. There are a limited number of parks but a few school lots where the dogs can run and get the exercise that they need. "
  • Scott_pepin
"Safe neighborhood, clean and quiet in the evenings. Close to a lot of amenities such as shopping, dining, etc."
  • Divingjd
"We do not have children. Many people do not have children in the house, but there are often grandchildren and families visiting. There are children in the neighborhood who seem to socialize and get along. "
  • Aa4089cc
"easy access to mile roads and telegraph and 696 and square lake road. occasional power outages however mean traffic lights out so harder during busy hours"
  • Jasonpaulateer
"I've lived in this town for almost a decade. The neighbors are mostly friendly. The school district is decent. The houses are spacious. There are no sidewalks and few street lights. "
  • Tcrowsports
"The wealth we have to maintain our standards of living. Our residences are very well maintained, and the local establishments are nice. "
  • Lfcamaj
"We’ve lived in Bloomfield Hills for 17 years, it’s beautiful, safe quiet people-are friendly yet mind there own business. Yes taxes and water are a bit high but it’s worth it."

"Amazingly friendly and diverse community of well educated, and meaning, professionals. Moving here from NYC metro area five years ago was the best decision of my life."
  • Andrew D.
"There are a ton of dogs in our neighborhood! Many are out walking regularly, and it is very dog friendly. "
  • Alyssalenchner
"Most houses have invisible fences for their dogs as lots don’t have fences. Not sure on rules as we’re in the township."
  • Chance R.
"Beautiful parks, schools, golf. Wonderful friendly people And amazing libraries and amenities..........."
  • Contactwaterman
"I'd say that at least 30% of the homes have dogs. People take good care of their pets and yards. Picking up after dogs isn't an issue here. "
  • Cgibson56
"Privacy - large lots Close to freeway - easy commute to all areas Close to shopping - grocery and department stores "
  • Cgibson56

"Great schools, great parks, very family oriented, great city services, rapid public safety services, and overall great community. "
  • Peacetoou
"In the middle of everything. No more than a half an hour to get anywhere I need to be. Roads are well maintained "
  • Dog lover
"Bus access is at the corner, on N bound Telegraph, also runs on Woodward Avenue and Long Lake Rd. All of which are within a 15-20m walk. "
  • Jancarroll
"We have many dogs in our neighborhood and they are all welcomed. It is also a safe place to walk your dogs."
  • Tamengleman
"We’ve lived here for 10+ years, son graduated, schools are excellent. Neighbors are friendly, helpful, but also private. The yards are all 1/2 acre+ but open, the kids cut through w/o an issue to take a short cut. Our particular streets (2) only have 10 houses so we drive every where, like being in the country kinda right in the city. Police response is within 11/2-2 minutes very professional and efficient no crime. I walk my dogs (poodles) at all times of the night. The convenience to highways is great. Just a nice, quiet, convenient place to safely raise your family and live yourself. "
  • Moegamal67
"Picnics, dream cruise, our schools, our neighborhood, our community recreational clubs, our golf clubs, the fire houses, the police stations, the parks.... and last our subdivision, my school mates "
  • localbtwpres
"Traffic has gotten very difficult. Two lane access does not work anymore, but there is nowhere to go to upgrade. POTHOLES will break suspension, Long Lake East of Woodward anyway..and most shortcuts To get to Telegraph takes easily 25 minutes, Square Lake between Woodward and Telegraph is ridiculous any weekday after 2pm"
  • Allise Wachs
"The inner woods is very quiet and safe for children and pets. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. There are numerous nice places to walk, and the area attracts people of all ages."
  • Allise Wachs
"Our neighborhood is quiet. Most of the people are considerate and friendly. It's easy and safe to walk everywhere."
  • Malorkis
"The apartment complex nearby uses a lot of pesticides in their area. Just FYI for anyone walking their dogs. "
  • Nenebballmom
"My neighborhood is very nice but very crowded. I really wish it added more driving lanes. Sometimes a 5 min commute can take up to 20 mins."
  • V
"Easy commute into Pontiac and Bloomfield or Birmingham. 4 minute drive from st Joseph mercy Oakland hospital."
  • Rachel D.
"Very friendly neighborhood with great schools and lots of walking trails. "
  • Kiki
"Traffic on Telegraph is congested. Could be better-but definitely convenient area in which to live! Close to good grocery stores and shopping. "
  • Bejoicethomas
"Very safe and clean environment with mature trees and beautiful natural setting. Also has inclines and slopes and sidewalks that are safe distance from the roads. "
