This is Crest Drive. You won't find a better place than this for living. The most beloved street in Encinitas. A Nice house. 4 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, 2800 Square Ft. Very private. It can't be seen from the street. With the 1.5 acre property, it feels like being and living in a state park. Quiet and out of the way. And on dead end street. This property is the best of both worlds. Country living in the city. Very special. You feel like your in the middle of nowhere just 2 miles away from restaurants and shopping centers, Just drive down the hill to downtown Encinitas. house has laundry room and double garage. Master bedroom is very large with a gigantic walk in closet. All of Imelda Marcoses shoes and clothing could fit in. Most appliances are provided. There is a rented out guest house on the property so kids are allowed to be noisy outside because that tenant likes it quiet. Plenty of parking on the property. A Motor home parked is permitted, but not for living in, just parking it. 1 year minimum lease. The rent about $5500.

    "The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."

    "Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "
