"Maybe need a park for dog walking. I don’t have a dog personally but I see people walk their dog around "
  • Janay Mccullough
"With the park near by there are always friendly people with their dogs out. I’ve met some great people and pets"
  • Ernie
" Work construction, but it’s the best of all the different areas so I’m close to San Francisco Oakland San Jose‘s an hour so it’s pretty good 20 minutes to Berkeley but the drive home is usually a little rough, but where I live in Concord is not too bad cause it’s a quick exit after you go through the interchange. I moved to Concord because I didn’t want to live in Antioch, clear Brentwood, where the commute is horrible."
  • Samantha Johns
"There are a lot of schools so it’s better in summer, but commuting down Treat is reasonable. Ygnacio is a little tough "
  • Trulia User
"Nice, well maintained suburb close to amenities. Great Concord location on the Walnut Creek border. Super dog and kid friendly, close to Bart. With free bus from Bart to Shadelands. Safeway, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s nearby. "

"The buses in the area all lead to the BART Station which is very convenient. Also, there is plenty of parking at the BART Station in the mornings. If you commute, you don’t want to arrive later than 7:40am for parking. Anytime after that you may not find anything. "
  • Michele T.
"We know a few people but everyone keeps to themselves and minds their own business and avoids as much contact with others as possible. "
  • Shradhakarky
"Lot of families living .Accessible to shopping ,grocery ,restaurant and public transport . Elementary schools and middle school nearby ."

  • Angel E.
"Concord as alot of places to go see, plus everything is so close to each other like for example, grocery store, fast food, restaurants, the movies, etc. Concord is a very chilled and the weather is random making Concord I guess you could say especial "

  • Ricard Z.
"Quiet and accessible to a lot of places such as Bart, restaurants, parks and shopping centers. A lot of dog friendly things to do out here too."

"Safe neighborhood and people are nice and friendly. A lot of people with family live here. Very convenient and close to Bart, Costco, Safeway and Ranch 99. Close to highway entrance. "
  • Mitabhanca
"Quiet safe neighborhood with lots of parks. But you don’t see too many dogs being walked in the streets. But I have seen dogs and kids in the parks."
  • Christiesutanto
"Ok no problem no complaint everything is totally amazing I just want to have a cheaper price apartment "
  • Neo M. B.
"The schools are great and very community oriented, third party scores and not completely accurate. Being parents with children in private, public, and chartered we are completely grateful for the teachers and faculties in the schools of Concord. Children with Parents that are not involved will definitely struggle. The community parks are very safe and are always used by residents in thier respectable neighborhoods. "
  • Cathleen A.
"I don't like my neighborhood. I live in I I live in Antioch and we get car getting broken into often, if no body is home, we've had burglary. Parking is horrible, people not handicapped takes blue spaced, handicapped parking, people who are not guess take up guess parkings."
  • Nursingnotes
"Up and coming! Very happy here, wish public schools would be better ranked, but several private options."
