5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, I was disappointed. As I said, I'm sure it works for some but, I expected so much more. I will say this, the school is very conservative and traditional - if that works for your family, you'll probably love it. In my experience some of the teachers just go through the motions, perhaps they are burnt out, but I didn't get the feeling that they were invested at all in education, children or anything - it really is a shame. If you have a son of color proceed with caution!!!Parent Review7y ago8 Reviews - Poquonock Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis schools is amazing , and it starts from the very top . The principal in my opinion sets a safe and fun environment for all the students and the teachers there follow suite . They truly care for the students and it shows . I have 3 children that are currently attending and they don't want to miss a day of school because of how much they enjoy learning and socializing with the teachers and other students .Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Sage Park Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is thriving now at the end of 6th grade. Teachers are awesome and have helped her grow and excel this year while Also enjoying learning. The student support from guidance and family resource have also been great. Along with core classes she has tried Spanish French culinary choir art tech and wood shop. Also after school dance led by Spanish teacher. Downsides have been a couple of fights that she witnessed, challenges finding close friends and a lot of testing which unfortunately is in every public school now. The admin really do great work to make entering middle school as good as it could be given the constraints.Parent Review1mo ago14 Reviews - Windsor High School

"Quiet and everyone keeps to themselves. Only a little noisy during the summer time due to motorcycles."

"I see dogs walked all the time. Some people don’t pick up after them. Also some people let their dogs walk to far into residence yards to use the bathroom "

"I have lived in Windsor for 5 years. It has been the perfect location! I work in downtown Hartford and I take the bus into the city from a commuter lot in my town. It’s a relaxing 15min ride into and out of Hartford and as close as I am to the capital, Windsor is cute with lots of farms and the small, quaint town feel I was looking for. I’m loving it!"

"Live in the harvest Lane neighborhood for the last 9 years. One of the best places to live in the state. A very sort after neighborhood to live. Took us a while to get a house, because no one moves from it. Unless they are retiring and moving to Florida. The trails that are connected off the street that leads to Northwest Park and the reservoir for hiking are incredible. The family atmosphere is that of an extended family. The kids, the parents even the pets all know each other. We can’t ask for more from such a tranquil place we live in with so much harmony and love. #HarvestLane4Life "
