As a student who is attending Freeport High School, I can honestly tell you that I have experienced first hand what many parents have not. I have seen no favoritism in the classrooms, and are treated fairly. Teachers make every effort to inform the parents of any and every change made within the school, as well as connecting them to their childrens education and progression. There are several clubs and after school societies that make being involved with the school very easy and fun. As for being a small rural school, it makes it easier for teachers to help students who need extra help, and encourage those who are excelling, however, our school is growing with each year that passes. I am proud to say that there is very little to no extreme problems at this school such as bullying and gossip, which can be a very bad thing. As a student ambassador and an active key club member, I can honestly say that Freeport high school is one of the very best.

Poor parent-teacher communication on child’s progress, principal seemed to have a relaxed attitude with bullying and they don’t seem to have any solutions for students who are behind or needing extra assistance.

We have had a good experience with this school. Middleschool can be difficult for students and teachers alike and they very much make a great effort for the students here.
