5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFaculty has awful communication when it comes to any scenario and event that happens between students. Show favoritism between students. Morals problems to as well. Treat every stone like they’re all the same and adding to the some teachers be yelling or screaming.Parent Review6mo ago5 Reviews - Savin Rock Community School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis schools is not very parent friendly. I never feel that I know what is going on in the classroom or the school in general, even after many attempts to get involved. Walkways and courtyards are not fully shoveled in the winter for walkers, even after I direct comment from the principal that he was going to make sure it got done. Several times I have shown up for school plays and parents had to wait outside (one time in the freezing cold), until they opened the side door for us. There were very old grandparents and babies waiting outside...20+ minutes. If you want to improve test scores to get yourself off of the list of failing schools in the state start with reaching out to the parents....there is a HUGE school (teacher)-parent disconnect at that school.Parent Review14y ago5 Reviews - West Haven High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible. Most of the teachers have absolutely no control over their classes. For example, during my sophomore year, a boy was bullied by another kid every day in class. The teacher was aware of the situation and did nothing to help. The situation eventually escalated into physical violence. During my time there, bomb threats and fights happened regularly. Students in academic classes were often so loud and disruptive that my average day would end with a throbbing migraine. This all leaves the students and many of the teachers apathetic and disenfranchised (though I did have a handful of quality teachers during my time there). I genuinely hope that this place can make some serious changes. The kids attending WHHS are being done a massive disservice.Teacher Review7y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 194 Campbell Ave.
