"Very safe and calm area. Nice parks but don’t go too far into the city as it can get dangerous and sketchy."
  • Pedro P. R.
"All about gang activity is very important to know. Crimes in the area, car theft, burglary, and assaults are as important. "
  • Ian M.
"Not a lot of kids playing outside, neighborhood is mainly made up of elderly folks. Everyone is very nice and definitely on top of security. Easy to walk to park and the grocery store. "
  • Babak B.

"Oceanside is a great place to live. I love it here! My neighborhood (near Kaiser Permanente) is quiet, well-maintained, and safe. Most of my neighbors are military families (including myself) due to our close proximity to the base."
  • Barrerac2011
"People walking dogs of all sizes at all times of day. People are kind, but you must pick up after your dog. "

"we love the neighborhood. it's beautiful and people are friendly. the view is pretty from where i live. the neighborhood is safe and the apartment complex is well gated and safe. "
  • Rothrocknancy
"Very quiet but huge apt complexes and inadequate roads cause traffic. The City didn’t complete expected roads and access to freeway so there is a red light every quarter mile... "
  • Cjnapierc
"my mother lives in the area and it seems to be centrally located to many things. there is Transportation, shopping, and freeways close by. also there are several great churches."
  • Chargerfanus2003
"in the path of progress with hundreds of acres of open land being developed for recreation and commercial use. Award winning schools, great weather (about 5 miles off the coast so not too hot and not too cool & cloudy). MLK park and now El Corazon area makes it great for active families. Close but not too close to major freeways makes for easy commute while having a quiet neighborhood. "
  • ourstore99
"I live in the area and have for 15 years. Beautiful landscaping all around Rancho del Oro"
  • C
"You could not hand pick better neighbors! Dad and kids playing catch in the yards. Laughing, soccer playing, kids in the tot-lot, couples out for evening strolls! I LOVE this neighborhood. Ivey Ranch has the best teachers, administrators and PTO of any school! If you are lucky enough to find a house in here, grab it! "
